Access to Success Organization is a Toronto-based not-for-profit organization that supports the development of future leaders with disabilities and assistive technologies. He manages several unprecedented initiatives, including up to $90,000 in annual Achievement Awards for MBA students with disabilities at four of Canada`s top business schools, the world`s first study on the inclusion of persons with disabilities in MBA programs, and ATS Labs – Canada`s first accessibility start-up accelerator. As an Access to Success partner school, Schulich strives to award up to three scholarships to MBA-eligible students. Each fellow will receive a $5,000 scholarship, as well as personalized recruitment support, networking, mentorship and other exclusive opportunities offered by the Access to Success organization. This course introduces students to key marketing concepts (buyer behavior, segmentation, targeting, positioning, product/service development and management, pricing, sales, communication). It applies these concepts to for-profit, not-for-profit, new, mature, service-related, product-focused, national and international organizations. He develops specific skills such as problem solving, verbal presentation, business writing and group work. Issues of marketing ethics and sustainability are integrated into the course.
As the keystone of the program, students will participate in strategic field study. In this exciting consulting project, which spans two semesters, teams conduct a strategic assessment of an organization and its environment and make recommendations to management. The Access to Success Scholarship is founded and administered by the Access to Success Organization, a non-profit organization that supports the development of future leaders with disabilities. This merit-based scholarship honors outstanding students who self-identify as disabled and have demonstrated excellence in academic, professional, or extracurricular fields. The MBA program is offered on a full-time and part-time basis, and students can switch between full-time and part-time status as needed during their studies. Full-time and part-time studies at the Keele Campus begin in September (fall semester) and January (winter semester). Note that students who wish to study part-time on the Nadal campus (downtown) only need to start the program in September (fall semester). The MBA program includes 33.00 credits of core coursework designed to provide students with a common set of skills required for effective management in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. In addition to the core core courses, students have the opportunity to complete 27.00 credits of elective courses, allowing for further exploration in a specific area of interest, completion of a specialization, or pursuit of a degree. Details on the components of the study and admission requirements can be found on the program`s website. The strategy field study represents the culmination of a student`s work in the MBA program. Through a two-semester study of a real-life organization, students working together in teams attempt to integrate, apply, and test all the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies. Students must train and enroll their groups in this strategic field study during the period they begin the process and enroll in MGMT 6090 to formalize the start of the study. Students must also enroll in MGMT 6100.30 in the first or second semester working on strategy field study.
